My wife Cris (44) had a right breast mastectomy in March 2003, began chemo and radiation in June 2003. Immediately after the radiation treaments ended in September, my wife became extremely ill with a very serious and deadly MAC infection in her left lung.

The MAC infection which is believed to have caused double pneumonia in both of her lungs caused her lungs to fail. January 1 2004 my wife was rushed to the hospital after she began spitting cups of blood from her lungs. She had 1/2 of her left lung removed 2 days later, and her body did not respond well to the surgery. She went into a coma for 1 month, and suffered intensely for the next 2 months trying to stay alive.

Now after 3 months in the hospital - GOD has granted her a miracle and brought her back to us. We have 2 sons and a 6 year-old daughter together.

I tell my story to tell ALL readers this message - when you think it is over, do not give up. GOD has the final say in what will happen to us all. And he has said he wants my (44 year old) wife to stay around a little longer for us all. I stayed by her side for everyday of the 3 months, praying and crying, and my prayers were answered. Many people told me just to "pull the plug" and let her go - but I did not give up on her!
